Through a trusted London metal roofing contractor, The Metal Roof Company was approached in 2017 to supply a range of copper style samples for architect and developer consideration.  The material initially specified for these luxury apartments was copper cladding in a shingle flat lock tile. At the time, copper cladding was hitting an all-time high on the LME (London Metal Exchange) and, even for these Luxury properties, the use of copper cladding would have pushed the build costs and sales values to unrealistic levels.

Lindab GreenCoat PLX was chosen as a copper roofing alternative. This material is often used in place of standing seam, especially because of its long-lasting, Eco-friendly and financial benefits.

All apartments were sold and the use of Lindab GreenCoat PLX ensures this building is a landmark development.
