Project: New Build house with standing seam copper-look roof, Scotland
Material: Lindab Seamline in GreenCoat PLX, Copper Metallic
Colour: Copper, Cladding
Rainwater: Matching Lindab Guttering and downpipes
This Rural house near Inverness, Scotland, was initially specified in natural Copper standing seam.
The Scottish metal roof contractor proposed Lindab Seamline PLX Copper finish, a colour that was immediately adopted by both client and architect. This finish offered a long-lasting material that had a stable and attractive copper style finish. This meant that the metal roof would stay the same over the years, without any unexpected colour changes. Natural Copper is not only expensive, but its unknown reaction to the atmosphere also means that the colour change can often be unpredictable.
Matching Lindab Copper rainwater gutters and downpipes completed the scheme.
