Project: Refurbishment of existing Dutch Barn, Kent
Material: GreenCoat PLX
Colour: Anthracite RAL 7011
Rainwater: Downpipes and gutters to match
Local planning permission for the development of this Dutch barn in Oxfordshire stated that the existing steel frame of the agricultural building had to be retained. Even with those planning constraints, a new steel standing seam roof was easily designed into the project, and GreenCoat PLX in anthracite colour was chosen.
Often, where planning permission is obtained by changing an older agricultural building to residential use, Greencoat PLX is usually an ideal choice for the metal roof. This coated steel roof sheet comes in a range of colours, including zinc and galvanised finishes that can offer a ‘nod’ to the buildings earlier heritage, while simultaneously retaining a contemporary finish.
Consider Lindab Majestic standing seam roof sheets and matching Lindab guttering and downpipes to achieve that high-end industrial appearance for your project.
