This award-winning development stands on the site of a former Ice Cream factory in East London. The site was developed into 9 townhouses and 2 luxury apartments.

The scheme required a zinc roof alternative material for the metal roof and wall cladding in order to meet tight budgets, and offer a low-maintenance option to the new homeowners. Matching zinc colour downpipes and gutters were also chosen to maintain continuity with the metal roof and zinc style wall cladding.

GreenCoat PLX was an ideal metal solution. This Eco-friendly metal from Sweden not only ensured a great looking scheme, but also one that was shortlisted at the LABC Building Excellence Awards for the ‘Best High-Volume New Housing Development (8 + units).’
