We’re pleased to have secured the supply of GreenCoat PLX for a new 166-unit housing scheme just outside London.
This recent contract took us back to a similar project we worked on back in 2021—a development of twenty-one 3, 4, and 5-bedroom contemporary homes in Calne, Wiltshire. Designed by Clifton Emery Design and built by local housebuilder @backhouse_housing, the project was supplied by The Metal Roof Company. The bold, geometric design of the homes was both simple and striking, earning the development a Silver Award at the prestigious @what_house Best New Homes in Britain awards in 2021.
Judges praised the project, highlighting that the use of coloured metal cladding and guttering ensured the properties would be low maintenance and benefit from long-term energy and cost savings.
