Metal roof sheets or wall cladding using zinc roofing can often exceed the budgets of many specifiers, raising questions like ‘what is the best metal to use for cladding?’
This housing scheme in Hertfordshire was no different, and when the Essex-based metal roofing contractor approached The Metal Roof Company, a project review turned up numerous metal solutions.
It was quickly clear that GreenCoat PLX was the best long-term and most cost-effective solution, meaning little change to existing zinc specification and therefore a quick and straightforward roof installation.
The project was completed on time with both the installer and the client very pleased with the metal cladding.
