Designed for The Local Housing Association, Locam apartments was a development on the site of a former public house in central London.
The association needed a low maintenance, yet visually attractive metal cladding that offered an aged copper appearance. Natural copper was considered but, under the recommendation of the FTMRC-approved metal roofing contractor, Verdigris Copper PLX was chosen as a more cost-effective option.
GreenCoat PLX is an ideal zinc roofing or copper roofing alternative and, when used, cost savings are usually significant.
