This project in Scotland was transformed from a transit store into a beautiful looking heritage centre in the heart of the Scottish country. The property sits on the 14km long Crinan Canal and it’s iconic name ‘The Eggshed’ was named after the building’s previous use for transit storage of eggs in the early 19th Century.
This building is a hub for learning about the rich heritage of the area, whilst simultaneously providing facilities for visitors and local residents.
This project in Scotland uses our GreenCoat PLX standing seam metal roofing material, a zinc roofing style product. It’s an eco-friendly roofing material, offering many more benefits to the homeowner and architects than zinc, for a fraction of the cost.
